Renting a home through PMA Amsterdam

Your next Amsterdam home, without the guesswork: transparent letting, fair tenant selection and no commission for tenants.

How to apply

01Find a property

See our current listings or contact us directly.

02Tell us about your situation

Who will live in the property, your move-in date, your work or income situation and how long you want to rent.

03Initial check

We check whether your application matches the requirements of the property before planning a viewing.

04Viewing

We show you the property and answer your questions.

05Application and screening

We ask for proof of identity and income, and references where relevant. Every application is assessed objectively and without discrimination.

06Lease and key handover

Once approved, we prepare the lease, receive the deposit and first rent, and hand over the keys with a check-in report.

Self-employed or working for an international employer?

A Dutch employment contract is not always required. If you are self-employed, on an international contract or newly arrived in the Netherlands, tell us about your situation and we will explain which documents we need.

Your identity documents

We only ask for documents we need to assess your application. When you share a copy of your ID, cover your citizen service number (BSN) and passport photo, and mark the copy with its purpose and date.
